- Please! Baud or bits per second! The terminology is confused enough,
- here on c.d.m, I would hope that we could maintain some order to our
- terminology. A 28.8Kish connection could easily be 2400 Baud. It will
- *never* be 28,800 Baud. This is a source of confusion and we should
- attempt to eliminate this.

- Internal modems can, and do provide this too. It's in the GUI for my
- modem if I care to look (along with the blinkin' lights and negotiated
- standards. Mine now says "connect 24,000 V.34 V.42 V.42bis".
